The Community Engagement Coordinator position has been posted and we will be accepting applications through June 30th, with an anticipated starting date of August 1, 2024.
The Community Engagement Coordinator will work to support various initiatives across all programming areas of the CDT Coalition including the Gateway Community Program, Community Ambassador program, and outreach efforts. This position will help to elevate, grow, and strengthen the network of CDT Gateway Communities, build grassroots support for the CDT throughout the Rocky Mountain region, and strengthen partnerships with communities, organizations, and advocates along the trail’s length. The Community Engagement Coordinator will work with the Community and Outreach Program Manager to build relationships with volunteers, chambers of commerce, tourism boards, conservation and advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders to build support for the CDT. This position requires a passion for building relationships, fostering community connections, and advocating for the preservation of public lands.
